Sunny Day

After several months of cold weather, and not being able to play outside, Rex actually got to the point where at 5:00 every day, he would start to run in circles. Literally. He just had so much energy bottled up inside, he would run and spin and laugh and giggle until he would fall down. Then he would get up and do it again! Finally, we had a nice, sunny, warm day, and he was able to run around, ride his tricycle, and play t-ball outside. He had so much fun! Sean also loves being outside. He was just hanging out in his bouncy chair enjoying the warm breeze. The three of us took a walk around the yard to look for buds and flowers on the plants and trees. Rex is so excited that things are starting to grow. It is an exciting time. I still get excited every spring, just knowing that warm weather is coming. I can imagine what it's like when you are three. A little bit like magic, I suppose.
